The daily responsibilities for the Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative role include:

• Provide excellent customer service to external customers and employees.
• Answer incoming calls and direct them accordingly.
• Assist walk-in customers, handle email requests, and manage incoming calls.
• Support the Outside Sales team with sales-related tasks.
• Prepare quotes, convert them to orders, and follow up on pending quotes and orders.
• Obtain quotes from vendor representatives for Outside Sales.
• Act as a backup for the Service Department, assisting with scheduling installations and service calls.
• Demonstrate multitasking skills to complete job duties efficiently.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Provide support to customers at Iowa Pump Works, Inc.'s Corporate Office.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and respectful attitude towards customers and co-workers.
• Keep workstations neat and organized to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety policies.
• Maintain good attendance and actively participate in department meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands of the Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative:

• Occasionally lift boxes and paperwork weighing 10-30 lbs.
• Spend the majority of the workday sitting behind a desk.
• Operate a computer and copy machine.
• Frequently type on a keyboard.
• Frequently use the phone receiver to communicate with customers and employees.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to calculate unit pricing for parts and services.
